'On Strike for my Child' - Participation and Publicity
This decision has been a real test of my love for Dom, my faith, and also my self respect -- it shouldn't be this hard just to be a parent!
Most of you reading this can relate without hearing the details -- you have lived
them. Some other pictures.
You need to know that in many ways it was a very easy decision to make. Being a parent and caring for my child is the most important thing in the world to me (and I am sure to many of you). When treated unjustly -- what more natural reaction is there? Perhaps some anger and frustration for a while -- but then positive ACTION.
If you can help -- that would be great.
Write Letters/Phone public officials. I have written to the Governor, and also a lot of other letters.
Try to bring media attention to the story. Check out some old news videos. If you think you want to plan/participate in an "action" to help -- post to our special forum.
