======================================================================
Folks,
This message contains info on:
1. Planned Magazine Coverage for our site.
2. Murtari Protest Update
3. Request for articles.
1. Planned Magazine Coverage
----------------------------
Yahoo has a printed magazine called Yahoo Internet Life
which can be found in larger stores -- you can see the
online version at http://www.yil.com/
An editor contacted us and wanted to use the Kids-Right.Org
site in a "Touched by the Net" column they have. The
review will run in the Jan/Feb issue of the magazine which
should be out in the next several weeks.
This will give us some "national attention". If you want
to share your "story" think about having it added to our
Hall of Shame (http://www.kids-right.org/shame.htm)
We have recently added some new ones and there are some
real heartbreakers!
2. Murtari Protest Update
-------------------------
December 14, 1999--2:00 p.m. John again quietly carried
his sign and was arrested by the Syracuse City Police inside
the Hanley Federal Building in Syracuse, New York. The
site has complete details,
http://www.kids-right.org/protest_dm.htm
He was released today (12/15), but plans on returning again
tomorrow and probably next week. If one or more folks could
come and "walk" outside the Federal building --where it is okay
to march (while he is 'inside')-- it could help a lot. Contact
John at: jmurtari@thebook.com
For those of you who have been "beaten" by the system,
and cried countless tears as you were separated from
your children -- this approach may have value. If you
have expended all other options, it allows you to make
a positive and "faith filled" statement about how much
you care for your children -- AND MAYBE GET A PUBLIC
INVESTIGATION.
3. Request for Articles
-----------------------
Our site has a court section,
http://www.kids-right.org/court.htm
If you have some examples of court documents you are
willing to share (not copyrighted), we would be happy to
post them so that other people can get ideas about
potential actions.
